Frequently Asked Questions

What version of Minecraft do I need?

Retards Server currently runs on Minecraft 26.1.2.

Currently, other versions are not officially supported. We may add ViaVersion, ViaBackwards and ViaRewind in the future, but they're not our priority right now.

Do I need any mods?

No.

The Server is fully playable using vanilla Minecraft.

However, the Server does provide some features that require client-side mods to be used, such as the voice chat and emotes. They are not required to enter the Server, but the mentioned features will not work if they are not installed.

We recommend installing Fabulous, our official client-side modpack, which includes performance improvements plus all of the optional mods that can be used on the Server, along with other QoL improvements.

Is this a modded server?

No.

Retards Server is powered by Paper and plugins.

Everything is server-side, so vanilla client can join.

Can Bedrock Edition join?

Yes.

The server supports Bedrock Edition through Geyser. See the Bedrock guide for setup instruction.

Is the server cracked?

Yes.

Accounts are protected using AuthMe.

When joining for the first time you'll need to register with a password.

Is there a whitelist?

No.

Anyone can join.

Yes.

Players are free to fight each other.

Factions may also claim land to protect their builds.

Are there land claims?

Yes.

Land claiming is handled through the PvP-Index Factions plugin.

Can I build in Creative?

The server includes a separate Creative world with independent inventories.

Nothing from Creative can be taken into Survival.

Simply return to your grave to recover your items.
